Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice

A lot of recipes using pumpkin call for pumpkin pie spice. Instead of using 5 different spices for the pumpkin pie flavor, pumpkin pie spice allows you to use all 5 of those spices, without the hassle of measuring each on individually. Spices are expensive! So if you already have these 5 spices, you don’t need to spend money on yet another spice, pumpkin pie spice. Keep this mixture in a small airtight container in your spice cabinet and use a couple teaspoons depending on the amount your recipes call for.

Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 1/2 tblspn of ground cinnamon
1 tsp of ground ginger
1 tsp of ground nutmeg
1 tsp of ground cloves
1 tsp of ground allspice
air tight container

Mix all spices together, shaking to mix together once sealed inside the airtight container and use a couple teaspoons as needed with pumpkin recipes.
